Messages 608 Points Thu, Jun 18, 2020 5:28 AM Acknowledged Lightroom Desktop 3.3: Lens corrections not visible in thumbnails (Mac Only) Hi there. I just updated LR desktop (on a MacBook Pro running Catalina) to version 3.3. Since updating, I have noticed that when I apply lens corrections to newly added photos, the effects of those corrections are not visible when viewing the photos in grid view or in exported jpgs of the photos. The effects are only visible when viewing the photos in detail view. Removing and reapplying the lens corrections does not fix this issue. Lens corrections still appear as normal in the (also newly updated) mobile versions of LR. In Applications, go into Adobe Lightroom CC folder Right-click Adobe Lightroom.app and choose Show Package Contents Open Contents, then Resources folder Copy the folder called CameraProfiles Paste into LibraryApplication SupportAdobeCameraRaw. If the folder doesnt exist, create it first.) Go back to the Lightroom app and do the same for the LensProfiles folder. You should now see: LibraryApplication SupportAdobeCameraRawCameraProfiles and LibraryApplication SupportAdobeCameraRawLensProfiles Relaunch Lightroom and try exporting again. Note that the Library folder mentioned in step 2 is not the Users yourusername Library.. You need to be in just plain Library in the drives root. Import Image Apply Lens Profile Image in Loupe updates Thumbnail in Filmstrip updates Image in Grid updates Exported image updates You might start by resetting your preference file. If that doesnt do it, then we should probably look at a clean reinstall of the application. Close Lightroom. 2. ![]() Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog. Close Lightroom. 5. Restart Lightroom. Unfortunately, neither resetting application preferences, nor reinstalling the software appears to have resolved the issue. Furthermore, it looks like its happening to not just newly imported photos, but also any photo to which I make new edits following the 3.3 update. Once the edit panel is closed and the edits take effect in grid view, lens corrections disappear. They remain visible in detail view, but not in grid view or in exported jpgs. I first noticed it when exporting photos to jpeg after the latest update, for my Z6 NEF files the exported photos have a magenta color tone, so do the thumbnails. Lightroom 3.2 Download Jpegs UntilLightroom Web and Mobile do work fine and I use them to exportdownload jpegs until this issue is resolved. I tested older photos I exposed in the past too, and I noticed the lens corrections were not exported as you described since version 3.3. Have either of you tried going back to 3.3 after reverting to 3.2.1. For reference I run MacOS Catalina 10.15.5 on a 2017 5K 27 inch iMac with 3.4 GHz Intel I5 and a Radeon Pro 570 graphics card. I tried disabling GPU acceleration, but nothing works. If there is anything I can test let me know, going back to 3.2.1 again now. Let me share 2 screen grabs, 1 of the development window, and another one of the export preview window. Without making any edits. Camera Nikon Z 6) Maybe my info helps.
